Alfonso Faustino: Osso’s Steakhouse in San Francisco

Unlike other steakhouses in most of San Francisco, Osso doesn’t serve their steaks on a plate of grease — instead, the steak sits in its natural and seasoned juices.  The steak is tender and moist — not wet and greasy nor dry and tough like other steakhouses in San Francisco: Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse and Morton’s Steakhouse, respectively.

Osso’s service is spot on — our server was knowledgeable, available, and courteous.  The cost for this bone-in (Osso) 18oz filet mignon  was $49; and, it was well-worth it…great quality and generous portion.

The cost for this bone-in (Osso) 18oz rib-eye  was also $49; and, it was well-worth it…great quality and generous portion.
